Costs and Fees

The law office of Richard Scanlan is paid on a contingency fee basis. In other words, you pay no attorney fees unless there is a recovery by jury verdict, judgment or settlement of your case. If you or a member of your family are the victim of medical negligence, personal injury, car accident, construction accident or wrongful death, you may rest assured that you are in good hands. We will take the time and care needed to meet with you and members of your family to listen to the issues presented, ask questions, determine the relevant facts, and examine the medical and hospital records as well as diagnostic and laboratory values. This is essential to make an intelligent determination of whether a lawsuit is justified and whether we can offer legal help.

Damages & Value of Your Case

It is important to determine whether monetary damages can be recovered and if a lawsuit is justified as early as possible in your case. With this in mind, we strive to quickly determine the nature and amount of any liens on your recovery, such as Medicare and/or Medicaid liens.

Continuity of Representation:

Our clients are important to us. You can find comfort in knowing that the same attorney who listened to you during the intake process and examined the medical records, will be the one who conducts depositions of the parties and relevant witnesses and ultimately tries the case. This is what makes us one of the best law firms in client care.
